Today's amazing message on the 9 Fruit of the Spirit taught us that what we are connected to is what we will produce! The world tells us many things we can do to get these fruit that we seem to long for, like love, joy and peace. But God shows us these fruit will only grow as you abide in him.
God wants us to be blessed! 'Blessed' means "Happy & Satisfied!" Gal. 5:22-23
The fruit of the Spirit will be tested in the hard times, not just in the good times.
Faithfulness attracts favour and Self-Control (discipline) pushes us to victory!
Ps 1:1-3 Whatever I do should be prospering if I am planted in Christ!

I have tasted and definitely seen that the Lord is so so good! His goodness and His mercy endures forever! I commit myself to developing the fruit of the Spirit - Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control (Pastor, you would be proud. I got it all by memory)! Father God, I will not forget your Word!
ReplyDeleteWOW what a powerfull service. This is not a time where you should miss Sunday service. You need to get there. Today the house was packed out and Pastors message challanged me on the Christian walk. We need to get our walk right with God and show the world what a Christian really is. We are people of Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control all in one package. Our people at HWC are the best people you will ever meet. You don't want to miss this Sunday coming out. If you are not there early you are not going to have a seat (It was packed out today, Serious) as the power of God is going to be there. Taste and see that the Lord is good and this Sunday you need to bring out everyone you know. Don't let Jesus pass you or those around you by. Get READY!!

I want fullness of the fruit of the spirit to be evident in my life every day,I am being tested every day in my job, this word is so timely and ever fresh, i am changing every week as this word is being oured out in our lives.

We as a church often give those around us bad fruit with our attitudes, lies, or whatever it may be. It's time for the people of the church to produce the fruit of the Spirit and show the world that we really are different and set apart for God. And it starts inside each one of us.
