4 Things About Your Test

Pastor Pam preached a breakthrough message about Victory through the test!

1 Cor. 10:13 - "For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not [a]adjusted and [b]adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to [c]a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently."

It might not be my way, but victory is on its way!

  1. You’re Not Alone - If they made it through, you can too!
Somebody else has already gone through what you are going through.

  2. God is Faithful
In the midst of a test, don't blame God, trust God!
2 Thes 3:3 - "Yet the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen [you] and set you on a firm foundation and guard you from the evil [one]."
Psalm 27:5 - "For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will He hide me; He will set me high upon a rock."
'Faithful' - 'to be trusted in all things'

  3. You Can Do It!
He will not allow you to be tested beyond your ability to endure!
    'Allow' means 'to give permission'

  4. God has a plan for your VICTORY!
'Resolution' means 'A way of resolving or a way out'
God was not taken by surprise in your test! He already has a way out!

    You will be VICTORIOUS!

Please testify about your victory through the test, as you are becoming more thankful daily.

  1. With this series, the light is on obedience and perseverance in all situations. As we are being led through these TESTS in our personal lives, The WORD of God and the life teachings these last few weeks are transforming lives. I know mine is. Pastor Pam, added and paralleled the lesson form last week of Nathan. He had a TEST of obedience, of doing a task that was not; easy, quick, clean or what he wanted. However had he not been obedient his VICTORY would have passed him by. He would not have been healed. But today's lesson, My God, was piercing, thorough and enlightening. About an athlete that was partially paralyzed and was partaking in a 10K marathon; it was not easy for him to run the race like the others, he didn't finish quick like the others racers. It was a painful race, and agonizing race, being the dead, dead last and not having known everyone else had finished the race. Yet he ran. Because it was not about material prize, a medal; but for a bigger, richer prize. He wasn't running for anyone else besides himself. But in our lives, (We) are running our lives for others, their approval, to show them how good me have it, how better than them we are. But no, it God' who we must live for, and no matter the pain, our loneliness. God is there. We don't need someone to encourage us, because, God is faithful, and He and He alone will get us through the pain. But pain, we must past through, toward our VICTORY. DON'T FIGHT IT, ITS ONLY A TEST. Endure for the night, for Joy come with the morning and dawning of the new season. Past through the fire, push though the pain, cause God is Greater, and He never gives us more that we can handle. WE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST, WHO GIVES US STRENGTH. Thank you Pastor Pam for your teaching, Victory is on its way in my life Today.

  4. It is always great to be reminded that God has already provided a way out! Things may seem dark and impossible at times but no matter what it looks like, God is greater! He loves us, He sees us and He cares about us. As Pastor Pam reminded us, we are never alone and that's one of the biggest truths right there!

Thank you Jesus for your faithfulness and your love.

  11. What a joy to know that God is proving us, testing us...revealing to us what's really in our hearts even during these trying times. I'm so glad that God is not just interested in giving the test, but is more than willing to show me the solution!! Praise His Name!

  12. This message on Sunday was awesome and in season. It's good to be reminded of how faithful God is even in the midst of a test. God always prepares us for the struggles ahead because he wants us to have the victory. In my life I have experienced challenges beyond what I could ever have imagined but God has always shown Himself faithful. Pastors speak very plainly and with a heart of encouragement to let us know that we will have the victory so we must continue to trust God and we will pass the test. Thank you Pastors for speaking life into our situations.

  13. I'm so enjoying this series on thankfulness and refraining from complaining. The scripture used for Sunday's message is a familiar one for me, but I've never seen it broken down so simple and effectively like how Pastor Pam broke it down. We as a church are getting good steps and teaching to get closer and closer to many victories in 2009! The best is yet to come!

  14. WOW. Sunday morning was amazing. The power and presence of God at the altar call was amazing.
God is calling everyone to heal their broken hearts, mend past hurts, strength to keep going, hope to look forward and keep your head up. God wants to transform you into the person that he created you to be.

  15. One message in particular that stood out for me was when the pastor was talking about how the issues we face are not only unique to us. Sometimes I forget that others endure the same challenges that I do everyday and that I "don't" have the worst unbearable problems to deal with. So rather than giving up and pitying myself I need to be thankful for all that I have and remember that God will not give me more than I can handle.
